The Photo Tours listed below are a joint venture with Fresno based photographer Dan Sniffin. Dan is an award winning photographer who has had images used for the prestigious National Geographic Travel Calendar. He has exhibited his images at the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite and has many corporate clients. They are commonly filled with lots of technical information in a classroom setting. Our photo “tours” will minimize classroom discussion, and emphasize being at the right place at the right time to come away with stunning images of each specially chosen location. Of course, hands-on help and answers to questions will be provided at anytime during the tour. As a follow-up to the tour, critiques of participants work (up to 10 images) will be provided via E-mail upon request. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced (Participants must have a good understanding of their cameras operation) Film or Digital: Both are welcome Participants: Typically Limited to 14 Photo tours tend to fill quickly, so please make your reservation today. Zion - Bryce - Slot Canyons - Utah and Arizona November 3-8, 2008 Cost of tour: $750 ($250.00 Deposit required to book your reservation) Check or PayPal available Photograph Zion in the fall, Bryce Canyon and the Slot Canyons in Arizona. Southern Utah is rich with photographic opportunities and Zion is arguably one our nations most cherished parks. Bryce Canyon is otherworldly and the Slot Canyons are a colorful treat to photograph with their endless shapes and textures.
San Miguel de Allende & Gunanajuato, Mexico March 22-29, 2009 Join us as we visit the charming Colonial City of San Miguel with a day trip to Guanajuato. San Miguel is full of color, old doors, windows, cobble stone streets, and many more photographic opportunities beckoning at each corner. The food is delicious and the atmosphere relaxed yet inviting. We will stay at the fabulous Casa Luna in San Miguel with their uniquely decorated rooms that each have a fireplace, featherbeds, ceiling fans and a private bath. One could spend an entire day photographing at the Casa Luna! This is a tour not to be missed. Tuition includes your luxury room at the Casa Luna, a full breakfast each day, and all hotel gratuities. Transportation to and from Guanajuato, and a welcome dinner on Monday night Tuition does not include transportation to and from the airport (Typically Leon), airfare, lunch and dinner $2,300 for a single participant $1,800 for each participant sharing a room $2,400 for a single participant sharing a room with a non-participating roommate or spouse. Fall in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park October 25-30, 2009 Cost - $875 ($250 Deposit to reserve your spot) Come and photograph the lush fall colors in this cherished National Park. We will photograph mossy covered streams with fallen leafs, picturesque country roads and foliage reflecting in the water.
